Michelle has directed and choreographed such well known shows as “Kiss Me Kate”, “Oklahoma!”, “Guys and Dolls”, “Fiddler on the Roof” and “Godspell” to name just a few. She also assisted the Tony Award Nominee John Carrafa in the 2002 revival of “Into the Woods” and has other pre-broadway projects still to be slated.
Michelle does much more then direct; rather she inspires and urges the actor to go deeper which allows him to gain confidence and connect to their inner ‘star’ that may otherwise go unlit!
Michelle brings tremendous energy and passion for the theater as a director and has been adored by the casts of the 3 musicals on which we’ve collaborated. She sets the bar very high and then gives her actors the means to achieve those heights. Her ability to choreograph both dance and stage movement paid off in each production with eye-popping opening numbers.… Working with the music director, set designer, costume team, and tech/lighting seems effortless for her, as she knows each aspect of theater intimately. …her sense of humor kept even the toughest rehearsals moments light.
